A business meeting venue in Bucharest

The house stands in Dorobanți, Sector 1. It was granted its building permit in 1935 for the family of Gheorghe Tătărescu, Prime Minister in 1934–1937 and again in 1939–1940. Today it is a listed historic monument (LMI B-II-m-B-19435).

The villa hosts only one event at a time: from your guests’ arrival to the close, the spaces booked for your meeting are not shared with any other group. When a great deal rides on the discussion, this is the practical difference from a meeting room in an office building.

A board meeting room for 10–20 people

The meeting rooms host the Board & VIP format: 10 to 20 people seated around the table. It is the size of a board of directors, a strategy session or an investor meeting.

• negotiations, due diligence stages and contract signings;
• small-scale networking, as an evening format for a select circle of guests.

The meeting room is booked for your meeting. With its leather armchairs and fireplace, it is a setting made for long discussions.

A private boardroom: the Premier’s Library, 8–16 people

For smaller groups, the Premier’s Library is the right room: a confidential meeting, an executive interview or a signing with only a few people present. The room retains its bookcases of hand-carved solid wood.

Business dinners for up to 80 seated guests

The conversation moves to the table, in the main salons: up to 80 guests at a seated dinner. The format covers the dinner after a board meeting, the meal that closes a negotiation and a formal dinner with partners or key clients.

The décor comes from the collection of the Rădulescu Art Galleries, which numbers more than 15,000 pieces from the 17th to the 20th century.

One possible programme: an afternoon session in the meeting room, a seated dinner in the salons and the close of the evening in a small circle.

After the meeting, in the Cigar Lounge

The Cigar Lounge welcomes 4–12 people and is available from 18:00 by reservation. It is where a conversation begun at the table carries on. The Secret Poker Room and the Black Jack Room fall under the same format of private experiences: social games, played without stakes.

Technology, services and organisation

• a dedicated event manager who coordinates the day of the meeting;
• premium catering and bar, with professional staff;
• 6 toilets.

The event manager keeps the day running in order: the welcome of your guests, the move from the meeting room to the table and the close of the evening. The coffee break can move out into the courtyard, where the Wi-Fi works just as it does indoors.

The Premier’s house as part of the meeting

The building was designed by the architects Alexandru Zaharia and Ion Giurgea, in a Mediterranean style with Neo-Romanian elements. In the salon, the fireplace is the work of the sculptor Milița Petrașcu, a pupil of Brâncuși. It was Arethia Tătărescu, the Premier’s wife, who commissioned Brâncuși’s ensemble at Târgu Jiu. In the Premier’s study, a Fichet safe remains, unopened for decades. EKO GROUP took over the house in June 2024.

For a partner visiting from abroad, or a client you host once a year, the meeting takes place at an address they will remember. The rooms can also be seen on the guided tour “Art. History. Experience.”, Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 17:00 and at weekends from 12:00 to 19:00, with online booking.
